The goal of this project was to design a fresh and engaging book cover for Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen. As a beloved classic filled with romance, wit, and social commentary, the cover needed to reflect the charm of the story while feeling new and exciting. It was important to capture the elegance of the Regency era while ensuring the design worked for both print and digital formats.

I took inspiration from the Regency period, focusing on colours, patterns, and details that bring a sense of history while keeping the design modern and youthful. The lettering style is based on handwritten letters from the time but with a contemporary twist. Decorative patterns inspired by Regency embroidery add richness and texture, blending historical influences with a fresh, stylish approach to reimagine this literary classic.
