This special project was created for Ana Lucia, who originally developed a handmade scrapbook to teach Spanish to English-speaking children while babysitting. Looking to expand its reach, she sought to self-publish the book and needed a professional designer to bring her vision to life.

I was commissioned to design the book's cover and interior layout, ensuring that the final product retained the handmade charm of the original while enhancing readability and appeal. Overseeing the entire creative process, I collaborated closely with an illustrator to maintain consistency and clarity throughout the book. From concept development to print preparation, my focus was on delivering a seamless and polished product that effectively combined Ana Lucia's personal touch with a professional finish.

Micaela is an excellent designer. From the very first moment she showed me a lot of enthusiasm for my design, which I really appreciated because it is a personal project. She is extremely responsible, she always met the agreed deadlines (and even made some deliveries before). She listened to my suggestions and guided me to find the best option. She was very tidy in dividing the project into stages and always kept me on top of them. I really felt a genuine interest on her part so that I could really enjoy the result.
