Gloria Stella Ristorante
Client: Micaela Maltinti Studio
Art Director: Micaela Maltinti
The challenge was to create a brand identity for a fictitious Italian Art Deco restaurant named Gloria Stella. This comprehensive branding project included developing the brand itself, its guidelines, and essential graphic assets such as a website and menu, among others.
Inspired by Italian Art Deco of the 1930s, the branding reflects an elegant yet welcoming atmosphere, embodying a space for good times, exquisite food, and engaging conversations. The project draws from personal nostalgia: it imagines what it would be like if my family had owned a restaurant. Inspired by cherished memories of enjoying my Nonna’s pasta and playing card games with her and her siblings, the design honours the era in which my grandmother and her siblings were born. Gloria Stella, named after my great aunt who was born in 1938, represents a touchstone of family tradition. Today, she still shares those joyful moments with me whenever I visit Argentina.
