Overview
This lettering project was commissioned by Pilar and Tomas for their wedding day. The couple wanted a special postcard featuring the Spanish phrase “Tantos siglos, tantos mundos, tanto espacio y coincidir” as part of their wedding materials to share with their guests.

Challenge
Design a postcard that will be placed on each guest’s seat during the ceremony. It needs to feel personal and handwritten, as if the couple expresses this sentiment themselves. It also has to blend seamlessly with the wedding’s overall aesthetic and serve as a meaningful souvenir for guests to take home.
Solution
I created a lettering piece that felt organic and heartfelt. Sunflowers, taken from the bride’s bouquet, were incorporated into the design, along with a colour palette that matched the wedding invitations and other decorative details. The final piece beautifully complemented the overall wedding’s visuals, adding a personal and artistic touch while creating a thoughtful souvenir for guests to cherish.
Outcome
A postcard that the couple and guests loved. The guests took home the postcard, and it is a physical memory of a unique and special night. The couple made this postcard into a poster to keep that special night and their commitment always present in their home.
